This article addresses the need for consistent assessment of earning capacity reduction (MdE) following neurourological injuries covered by German and Austrian statutory accident insurance. A working group of neurourologists developed diagnostic recommendations and a standardized matrix for evaluating the severity of such injuries and determining appropriate MdE levels. The goal is to ensure fair and transparent compensation for individuals with neurourological conditions resulting from workplace accidents.
The matrix provides a structured approach for assessing earning capacity reduction, promoting consistency across evaluations.
The uniform assessment aims to ensure equal treatment for all insured individuals with neurourological accident consequences.
The recommendations offer concrete guidance for legally sound neurourological diagnostics, ensuring accurate identification of accident-related functional deficits.
