In February 2023, two major earthquakes struck Turkey, causing widespread devastation. This report describes the experiences of a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic in treating patients affected by the earthquakes. The types of injuries seen included amputations, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, nerve damage, fractures, and joint problems. The report highlights the need for well-defined patient profiles to ensure timely and effective interventions. The authors emphasize the importance of countries developing disaster preparedness guidelines and coordination units for quick action and communication during disasters.
